One of Israel’s largest floating solar facilities is located in the Bahan reservoir in Emek Hafer. The reservoir stores water for the irrigation of fields in the Emek Hefer Valley, and the solar project is a collaboration with the Emek Hefer Water Association.
The installation of solar panels on fish ponds and water reservoirs is done in such a way that regular activities can continue as usual.
