Green power in a green field

Doral brought to Israel the vision of solar agriculture through an innovative development in which advanced agriculture and solar energy coexist. Combining these two systems maximizes electricity output and significantly enhances agricultural production.

In order to produce clean solar energy for a large population, many facilities are needed over a large area. A small and dense country like Israel, however, has a limited amount of land for ground-mounted solar power. Furthermore, open spaces must be preserved along with large projects to create renewable energy. The need for large projects to generate renewable energy is also accompanied by the need to keep open spaces.

Doral’s Agrivoltaic projects maximize land use and provide farmers with innovative technologies to improve agricultural yields by using the land for both sustainable agriculture and the production of green energy.
