This facility in Kibbutz Holit is the first in Israel to combine solar power with energy storage. It was established after Doral won the electricity authority’s competitive process.
At this facility, there is a 5.5 MWp (DC) capacity solar field, as well as an energy storage system that can store energy for at least four hours, so that green electricity can be utilized during Israel’s peak times of electricity consumption.
