As the Company's Treasurer, you will be reporting directly to the CFO and work closely with the Director of Corporate Finance, Director or Project Finance, designated Controllers and other departments and managers within Doral Group. You will have a significant role in highly important and sensitive areas, such as cash management, debt management, currency/interest risks and exposures, financial optimization, cross-company processes, etc.
To succeed in this role, you should have some relevant experience and technological orientation, be comfortable with working hard in a fast-paced environment, think outside the box, and conduct yourself in an assertive manner, yet with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
The Treasurer position includes, among other things, supporting, overseeing and/of managing the Group's:
• Cash and debt requirements, including bank balances, day-to-day liquidity, financial covenants, funding requirements, etc.
• Guarantees, deposits and fees, as well as credit facilities and other financial negotiations and optimizations.
• FX and interest risks and exposures, as well as developing hedging strategies and implementing them.
• Relationships with global and local banks and other important financiers.
• Cash flow forecasts, planning and budgeting, for ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
• Payments schedules and processes, with respect to vendors and service providers.
• Accurate and timely treasury reporting to senior management.
• Compliance with various regulatory requirements (i.e., ISOX), internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Treasury related disclosures to be included in financial statements and ensuring the effectiveness of controls.
• Improvements of cross-company processes to optimize treasury activities and automate functions.
Requirements:
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related fields; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience in managing credit facilities – advantage.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector – advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work and succeed without close supervision, while efficiently managing tasks and time.
• Proven project management experience and self-learning ability, with a 'can do' and 'hands-on' approach.
• Strong analytical skills and business senses.
• Fluent English (both spoken and written).
